Modulate the superficial structure of La2Ce2O7 catalyst with anchoring CuO species for the selective catalytic oxidation of NH3

Air contamination caused by the ammonia slip phenomenon has gradually captured researcher's extensive attention. An effective strategy for controlling fugitive NH3 is critical to improving air quality and living environment. In present work, CuOx/La2Ce2O7 composite as a potential candidate catalyst synthesized through electrostatic adsorption method selective catalytic oxidation (SCO) of N2. The 5% exhibits best activity (T90 =243 ℃) conversion efficiency. improvement performance mainly attributed superficial connection [Ce-O-Cu], which enhances capturing ability molecule accelerates dissociating efficiency NH bonding N2 evolution, simultaneously. This work provides facile synthesis pyrochlore-like NH3-SCO solving problem pollution in future.
